LUBBOCK, Texas – October 5, 2026 – Independent Christian rock and alternative pop-punk artist The Daytime Rivalry is celebrating a breakout first year. Since officially launching on September 30, 2025, the project has grown from a childhood dream into a constant reality. While balancing a full-time career in SaaS Marketing and a Family, frontman Tim Robinson released 155 short form videos, averaging a new video every 2.3 days. This consistent output resulted in over 200,000 views, a 1,943.75% increase in cross-channel followers, and over 33,000 total streams across platforms including Spotify, Apple Music, and other platforms.
The past 12 months saw The Daytime Rivalry’s catalog expand from two songs to nearly seven. The project secured notable collaborations with Christian music veterans, including KJ-52 on the track "Lost Boy" and Jason Dunn on the track "Smile". These features represent a full-circle moment for the artist. Looking ahead, the momentum continues with the upcoming ForeverLand EP, which will receive a physical CD release to honor a deep appreciation for physical media.
Over the past year, The Daytime Rivalry has garnered nationwide and international radio play on stations like Way Loud, Effect Radio, and ChristianRock.net. The project was also featured in press outlets including, CMADDICT, Rapzilla, and Cage Riot. In addition to digital success, The Daytime Rivalry hit the stage for its first music festival appearance at Audiofeed 2026. The project also officially joined the Sower Project, a biblical indie rock collective.
